Prof. Shahab Anbarjafari found the intelligent computer vision (iCV) research lab at the University of Tartu in 2013. He is Chief Data Scientist (Director and Analytics Lead) in PwC. He is a co-founder of iVCV. He is also an early-stage angel investor. He is expert in computer vision, human-robot interaction, 3D modeling, AR/VR, and artificial intelligence. He has conducted various R&D projects for industries such as Rakuten, VERIFF, Bercman technologies, AlphaAR, and ReportAuto. He is an IEEE Senior member and was the Chair of the SP/CS/SSC Joint Societies Chapter of the IEEE Estonian section. He received the Estonian Research Council Grant, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, and European Union. He has been involved in many international industrial projects. He is an associated editor of several journals such as SIVP, Information JAD, Entropy, and JIVP and have been lead guest editor of several special issues on human behaviour analysis. He has supervised over 20 MSc students and 10 PhD students. He has published over 200 scientific works (journal papers, conference papers, book chapters, books, and patents). He has been in the organising committee and technical committee of conferences such as ICOSST, ICGIP, SIU, SampTA, FG and ICPR. He is organising a challenge and a workshop on in FG17, CVPR17, ICCV17, ECML19, and FG20.
