On-going Materials Science PhD studies at University of Tartu, focusing on reducing the resources needed to achieve longer shelf-life of food. 8 years of R&D experience in the flexible packaging industry, main focus has been on transforming “evil” plastic to a more sustainable, recyclable way to preserve and distribute food products, thus reducing the ecological footprint of food waste.
